Welcome to Dan's site
Farther along we’ll know more about it,
Farther along we’ll understand why;
Cheer up, my brother, live in the sunshine,
We’ll understand it all by and by.

I've posted three songs Scott recorded of Dan and him playing. Dan's singing and on rhythm guitar; Scott's on lead guitar. I also included some photo people, places, and things that remind me of happy times with Dan (you'll note that Duff Beer hat has been around the world). Songs: "Wagon Wheel," "Columbus Stockade Blues," and "Tall Buildings" ("Steam Powered Aeroplane" wouldn't fit).
ReplyDeletevery nice, paige.
ReplyDeleteJust what I needed tonight to settle myself - Dan's sweet voice and pictures of all of my back-home friends. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this. What a wonderful life. I wish I would have known Dan long before I did. It just ain't right. Much love to everyone who misses Dan. Love, Leigh and Woody
ReplyDeleteNice job. What a treat.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful tribute--what a gift to hear Dan sing. We remember clearly when Paige saw that egg-heart and clearly labeled what it would bring. We also remember when we first met Dan at the Christmas party at our house with the training gang--he followed you everywhere. It was eveident he was smitten right off the bat.
ReplyDeleteLisa & Kevin
We love the rare ones who touch us with their souls. Dan was one of them.
ReplyDeleteLet hearts find gentle solace
May souls have perfect peace
See stars above the mountains
Hear sweet singing in the air
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing this. It was lovely to see and hear Dan all grown up.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful tribute to someone who was obviously loved very much. Every picture of him he is smiling, and through each one, you see a gentle soul. His talent was unique, and although I never met him, watching the pictures of his life and listening to his songs..I learned today what the world has lost. May gentle memories carry you all............
